Tilt. Swing. Screen.

One handle. Two ways open. A screen that disappears.

Handle up, it tilts in for air. Handle across, it swings in so you can clean the outside glass from your room. Handle down, it locks.

The newest addition to the Canadian Choice collection.

Tilt The top of the window leans in a few inches. Fresh air, no rain, no open window while you are out of the room.
Handle up
Swing The whole window swings into the room like a door. Both faces of the glass are in front of you.
Handle across
Screen The TrueSCREEN pulls across the open window. Slide it back and it folds away into a slim housing, out of sight.
Slide across

Not a fancy window.
A sensible one.

Set the design talk aside. Four things TrueCrankless does on a Tuesday.

No crank to wind.

One handle, one turn. Nothing to wind, nothing to seize up, no gears to strip.

No ladder. Ever.

The outside glass swings in to you. The second floor gets cleaned the same way as the first, standing on the floor.

Warmer in January.

Lock it and steel locking points pull the window tight into the frame on all four sides. Less draft than a latch that holds at one spot.

An exact price.

The specialist measures, shows you the window and leaves you a price in writing. No pressure. Saying no is a normal outcome.

Made in Canada.

What the wrong way gets you

Five reasons people choose TrueCrankless.

A screen you only see when you want it. A window that comes into the room. Everything on your side of the glass.

Now you see it. Now you don't.
Introducing TrueSCREEN.

The TrueSCREEN is a pleated mesh in its own slim housing. Pull it across when the window is open, let it slide back when it is not. No fixed screen greying out the view, nothing to unclip and store in the garage every fall.

  • Pleated mesh, folds back into a slim housing at the side
  • Nothing between you and the glass when the screen is away
  • Screen and window both work from inside the room

Opens two ways.
Same handle.

Turn the handle up and the top of the window tilts in a few inches. Turn it across and the whole window swings into the room. Turn it down and it locks all the way around the frame.

  • Tilt for fresh air, even when it rains
  • Swing for a full opening, cleaning, or moving something large
  • Nothing to crank, nothing to wind, no gears to strip

Security: locks around the whole frame, not in one spot.

Your home and your family are the most important things you have. Turn the handle down and steel locking points close into the frame on all four sides at once, top, bottom and both sides. The whole window is reinforced, not held at one spot, so it is hard to pry and it seals tight. You feel it in the handle.

  • Multipoint locking around the full perimeter, one handle
  • No single weak spot to pry at
  • Closed is locked. There is no half-latched position.

Clean both sides from inside your home with no ladder.

Swing the window in and the outside face of the glass is in front of you at arm’s length. Second floor, third floor, over a garage roof, it makes no difference. No ladder, no squeegee on a pole, nobody on your roof.

  • Outside glass reached from the room, standing on the floor
  • Seals and hinges can be fixed from inside
  • Nobody on a ladder outside the bedroom window

Truly Canadian. Built here, for our winters.

It closes into the frame and locks all the way around, so it seals tight. We build it here, for Canadian winters, in our own facility, with hardware made to carry triple-glazed glass every time you swing it in.

  • Corrosion-resistant TrueCrankless hinges, pivots and lock gear, covered by the same 40-year transferable warranty as the window
  • Welded corners, insulated frame, DraftLOCK triple seal, ENERGY STAR certified
  • Triple glazing available on request
  • Manufactured, installed and serviced by Canadian Choice, in Canada
Go bigger

One big window. Not two small ones.

A crank window (casement) can only get so wide, so a wide opening ends up as two windows with a post down the middle.

TrueCrankless hinges are built heavier, so one window can go up to 30% wider and taller than a casement. One window where you would have needed two, and glass where the post used to be.

In the home

The window you stop noticing. Until you open it.

Closed, TrueCrankless is a clean black frame and a lot of glass. Open, it is on your side of the room, where you can reach it, clean it and lock it without leaving the floor.

TrueCrankless window tilted in above a dining table

Tilted in. Air with breakfast.

A few inches at the top, rain or shine, and nobody leaning over the table to wind a crank. Turn the handle up, sit back down.

TrueCrankless window above a freestanding bath

Over the tub, and still yours to clean.

The window nobody reaches from outside. Swing it in and the outside glass is in front of you. Lake view, no ladder.

Five questions to ask about any window warranty.

The number on the brochure is the easy part. These are the questions that decide what the warranty is worth in year twelve, or to the person who buys your house.

Does it transfer when I sellSome warranties end at the sale, or charge a fee and a deadline to move it.
Yes, at no cost. The TrueCrankless 40-year warranty stays with the house. The next owner gets the years that are left, with nothing to pay and nothing to file.
Does it cover the install, or only the partsA window that was fitted badly fails at the frame, not the glass.
The window, the seal and the install. We manufacture, install and service it, so there is no second company to send you to.
Is the hardware covered for the same termHinges, locks and handles are what you touch every day.
Same 40 years. The TrueCrankless hardware is part of the window and carries the same term.
Is there a fee to have someone come outSome warranties charge you for the visit, even when the part is free.
No inspection fee.If something covered needs attention, we come out. That is the point of it.
Who do I call when something goes wrongWhen the seller, the maker and the installer are three companies, the answer is usually all of them.
One number. Ours. The company that built it and fitted it is the company that answers.

Full warranty terms are provided in writing with every quote.

In their words.

The people who build, fit and stand behind the windows, on how the job gets done.

“The call after the install matters more than the one before it. Same team, same number, nobody to hand you off to.”
“We build the window and we install it. When something needs fixing, our name is on both.”
“On a new build, one person owns the schedule. If a date moves you hear it from me, before it costs you anything.”

From the handle in your hand to the install, four steps.

2
Built for your home

Factory-trained crews, most homes done in one to four days, cleaned up after.

4
Backed for 40 years

One walkthrough, one project manager, one 40-year transferable TrueCrankless warranty.

Straight answers.

Does a window that opens inward get in the way of blinds and sills +
Tilt does not touch anything: the top leans in a few inches behind the blind. For a full swing you lift the blind first, the same as you would to clean the glass. Keep plants and decor off the sill of the one window you swing most, and leave the rest alone. Your specialist walks each opening with you before anything is ordered.
Can I leave it tilted when I go out +
Tilt leaves a gap at the top only, with the window still held in the frame at the bottom. It is the position for air overnight and while you are out. For anything more than a short trip, close and lock it, the same as any window.
What does the 40-year TrueCrankless warranty cover +
The window, the seal, the hardware and the install. Transferable means it stays with the house when you sell, at no cost to you or the next owner. Full terms in writing with your quote.
How much does TrueCrankless cost +
It is priced per opening, by size and glass, so the only true answer is a measurement. The specialist measures every opening at the free visit and leaves you an exact price in writing, valid for the full order. Financing is available on approved credit.
Is a window that opens inward drafty in winter +
The opposite. When you turn the handle down, steel locking points pull the window tight into the frame on all four sides and against the DraftLOCK seal. A crank casement latches at one or two points and can be pulled shut unevenly. Closed and locked, TrueCrankless is sealed all the way round.
Is TrueCrankless only for certain rooms +
It goes anywhere a casement would. Upper floors and windows over roofs or gardens are the ones nobody cleans from outside. That is where it makes the biggest difference.
Do I have to sit through a sales pitch to get a price +
No. The in-home visit is a measurement and a demonstration: you try the handle, we measure, you get an exact number in writing. You can say no. It costs nothing.
Why is it called TrueCrankless +
Because crankless should mean more than taking the crank off. There is nothing to wind and nothing to push out: turn the handle and the window comes into the room, tilted for air or swung wide for cleaning. And it is truly Canadian, made in our own facility and installed by our own crews.
Are your windows made in Canada +
Yes. Every TrueCrankless window is manufactured in Canada, in our own facility, installed by our own factory-trained crews, and serviced by us afterward. No subcontracting chain, nobody to point at.
What is the TrueSCREEN +
It is the retractable bug screen built into TrueCrankless. A pleated mesh slides across the open window when you want air without bugs, and folds back into a slim housing at the side when you do not. No fixed screen in the view and nothing to take down and store every fall.
Still weighing it upA specialist can answer the rest in your own home, with a working window, at no charge.
